A Nobles Wager Ch. 1A cold wind blew between the trees it's scent skimming over the waters and coming to him, bringing with it muddled intentions on the way. Within this sea of green was a clearing, the kind where ancient ruins have a tendency to pop up and simply exist there. It was with that, there was little surprise that there were crumbling columns and raised platforms which had in another life time served a different purpose. Despite the need for ruins to generally stay well empty there was noise coming from these particular ones. Produced by a man much taller then most, to almost be considered giant.A Nobles Wager Ch. 1

Red, green, blue, white all blinking continuously within a fraction of a second. The quick on and off pattern of the strobe lights seizure inducing to some; were calming to my own nerves. The beat of rave music plays in the background of my mind, or in the foreground of the club. It’s so hard to decide on where it’s coming from. I wait at the bar with a simple purpose yet everything seems so fractured. I was unsure of how I had arrived, maybe I had walked in or maybe the light bit of coagulating blood upon my finger tips and watch had something to do
